Dead By Daylight Gets More Stranger Things Content In Update

Players will soon be able to get even more Stranger Things content in co-op survival horror game Dead by Daylight, with the developers releasing a brand new update that includes a selection of new skins. The popular title has been updated with extra content regularly since launch and has had a number of crossovers with other horror franchises, such as Halloween, Left 4 Dead, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Outside of content packs, the most recent update for Dead by Daylight came in the form of a huge next-gen upgrade that launched during the holiday season. This enhanced version of the game includes a graphical overhaul, giving the characters and textures a visual upgrade. The title now also supports 4K resolutions and runs at a steady 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The update was released for free to players who already owned the PS4 or Xbox One edition of Dead by Daylight.

Dead by Daylight is getting more Stranger Things content as part of a new update that is releasing today. Behaviour Interactive announced in a blog post on its website that it has once again teamed up with the creative team behind the hit Netflix series. The Days of Growth Collection is available to download right now and includes a selection of skins for previous Stranger Things characters that were released for the horror game. This includes outfits for Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington as well as a new look for the Demogorgon.

Dead by Daylight also recently got an accessibility update that made playing the title far easier for colorblind users. The change was made after a developer made a comment during a live stream that mentioned accessibility requests from fans as "boring." This led to criticism from advocacy groups and players who are affected by colorblindness, prompting the developer to implement some changes to give Dead by Daylight a number of new options for users to pick from.

Seeing Dead by Daylight still receiving updates after four years is encouraging for fans of the game. It suggests that there is no end in sight in terms of new content and DLC packs, meaning there could be plenty of life left in the survival horror title.
