Disney's Avengers Campus Light Test Shows Spider-Man Building Lit Up
Work on Disneyland's Avengers Campus is underway as light tests show off the exterior of its Spider-Man building. The Marvel extension has been underway for some time. Marvel's Avengers Campus was initially slated to open on July 18, 2020. However, the pandemic pushed back the opening date to sometime in 2021. Disney promises that it is worth the wait. Avengers Campus will have a special attraction titled Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to eat at the Pym Test Kitchen, visit Wakanda and meet their favorite Marvel characters—even those affected by Thano's snap.
The Discover the Magic Instagram account uploaded a video that a park attendee captured of a light test in Disneyland's Avengers Campus. The video pans to a red building with the Spider-Man logo lit up on it. Just before that, it shows off the other side of the building which is decorated with columns of lights. The two sides are connected by a lit-up passageway. A large robotic-looking building stands lit-up behind the passageway.
The red Spider-Man building is likely where Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure is located. Marvel fans have plenty to look forward to as the attraction is voiced by Spider-Man actor Tom Holland. The attraction is a shooter-type ride with never-before-seen spinning features. Spider-Man can be spotted throughout the campus as he hops from building to building and soars through the sky above guests' heads. The tall, robotic-looking building captured in the video is likely the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout attraction. Avengers Campus is definitely something to look forward to when Disneyland reopens later this year.
