Watching someone of questionable moral character attempt a scheme adds several layers to a story because the audience is unsure who to root for. Netflix's new movie, I Care A Lot, is one such film. This Canadian feature recently dropped on the streaming platform and quickly gained notoriety thanks to the star power and a tight plot.

10 I Care A Lot (2021)

Starring Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage, I Care A Lot follows a professional caregiver who uses the legal system and corrupt doctors to scam older citizens out of their money and freedom.

Life is great for Pike's character until she takes control of a woman with dangerous connections, forcing her to use all of her wit, skill, and ambition to survive. The twist-filled plot is debility smart with a shocking ending that will leave audiences gasping.

9 Nightcrawler (2014)

Jake Gyllenhaal is almost unrecognizable in his chilling performance as Louis Bloom. Bloom discovers a great deal of money to be made in filming the horrific events that occur on the mean streets of Los Angeles.

However, as Bloom becomes better at his job, the line between viewer and participant in a crime becomes increasingly blurred. This Academy Award-winning film can currently be streamed on Netflix.

8 American Psycho (2000)

Before he donned the cape and cowl, Christian Bale was most known for his role as Patrick Bateman. Bateman is a young, successful Wall Street broker by day. At night, however, Bateman turns into a vicious serial killer. Bale's performance as a psychic killer is intense, and the plot leaves audiences constantly questioning what they see. This thriller is currently available to stream on Hulu.

7 Parasite (2019)

Bong Joon-ho's best picture winner follows a down on their luck family as they use every scam and dirty trick in the book to make a better life for themselves. Seeing the success of another family, the Kims ingrain themselves in every aspect of their life. The Kim family may be victims of circumstance, but the lengths they go to for success defiantly fall into a moral grey area. This Best Picture winner can be streamed on Hulu.

6 Gone Girl (2014)

Rosamund Pike became instantly recognizable thanks to her portrayal as Amy Dunne. When Dunne mysteriously vanishes, suspicion instantly falls upon her husband (played by Ben Affleck).

As the plot progresses, not all is what it appears with Dunne's idyllic marriage or Amy's disappearance. The mid-point twist makes audiences question everything they know about the film so far. Gone Girl is available to stream on Hulu.

5 Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Almost all of Quentin Tarantino's films could be on this list, but the director's first outing is especially fitting because of its plot. Following the events before and immediately after a botched heist, audiences must piece together what went wrong along with the characters. Mistrust and violence abound as the criminals try to figure out which of their number is a rat. This film can be streamed on Hulu.

4 Focus (2015)

Will Smith plays the role of Nicky, a con artist who takes the novice Jesse (played by Margo Robbie) under his wing to teach her the skills of the trade. After the two part ways, Jesse returns during one of Nicky's most dangerous and profitable cons. The romance and twists abound in this 2015 hit, with the audience never sure what the two leads will do next. This film can be streamed on Hulu.

3 No Country For Old Men (2007)

Finding a suitcase full of money in the middle of a drug deal gone wrong, Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) decides to take the money and run. Hot on his tail is a local sheriff (Tommy Lee Jones) and a vicious hitman named Chigurh (Javier Bardem).

2 Sicario (2015)

After gaining a lead to stop a dangerous Cartel, Blunt's character is recruited by a mysterious government agent (Josh Brolin) and a stranger with connections to the Cartels (Benicio del Toro). What follows is an intense game of cat and mouse, with audiences never quite sure of who is the cat and the mouse. This film can be streamed on Hulu.

1 The Wolf Of Wall Street (2013)

Leonardo DiCaprio plays the real-life Jordan Belfort, who, in the 1990s, created his one brokerage firm and used his silver tongue to defraud investors out of millions. The film tracks Belfort's rise to power with the help of his trusty lieutenant(Jonah Hill) as they lie and scheme their way into a life of wanton excess. This Martin Scorsese film won a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
