Each of the three movies in the To All The Boys series has memorable moments that have made fans laugh and cry and To All The Boys: Always and Forever is no different. From family trips and major milestones to quiet moments shared between soulmates Lara Jean and Peter, there is no shortage of iconic moments.

10 The Coveys Going To Korea

Unlike the other movies in the series, To All The Boys: Always And Forever throws us right into the action as viewers are transported to South Korea with the Covey family. The Covey sisters along with their father and his girlfriend journey to South Korea to get closer to their Korean heritage. Along the way, they sightsee, indulge in traditional Korean cuisine, and spend some quality family time together.

It's not often the entire Covey family is seen together so this was a delightful treat for fans of the series. The trip was made even better when the Covey sisters and their dad visit the lock-key bridge in the hopes of finding a lock their mother put there when she visited South Korea with Dan before they were married.

9 Dan And Trina's Wedding

Parents in teen stories aren't always the greatest but To All The Boys managed to break that trope with Dan Covey. While Dan has had some pretty iconic moments over the last three movies, he really shines in To All The Boys: Always And Forever. Thanks to Kitty's meddling in the second film, Dan has gotten a second chance at happiness with Trina.

Since both of them have been married before, they opt for a backyard wedding that Lara Jean basically plans herself. The wedding is a big moment for the Covey family and for fans of the series.

8 Lara Jean And Gen Getting Along

Lara Jean and Gen have had quite the relationship over the course of the movies. After being childhood friends, the girls eventually drifted apart in middle and high school especially when Gen started dating Peter. Of course, things only got more tense between the two when Lara Jean started dating Peter and Gen was constantly getting in the way.

After their treehouse apology in the second film, fans weren't expecting much from these two in the third film but they were pleasantly surprised. During their trip to New York, Lara Jean and Gen begin to bond over their love of the city and it becomes clear that these two former best friends might not dislike each other as much as they once thought.

7 Peter's "Prom-posal"

No romantic comedy is complete without at least one romantic gesture but as fans of the series know, Lara Jean definitely doesn't like to be the center of attention. When it comes to asking Lara Jean to prom Peter knows exactly the right prom-posal for her.

In lieu of a public prom-posal at school, Peter takes Lara Jean to the Corner Café where they had their first date. In true Peter fashion, he gets down on one knee and presents her with a plate of pancakes with strawberries spelling out the word "Prom?" It's the perfect prom-posal for these two.

6 Kitty's Long-Distance Relationship

After years of meddling in her family's love lives, Kitty finally gets a love story of her own in To All The Boys: Always And Forever. While at the lock-key bridge in South Korea, Kitty meets Dae, a young boy who takes a family picture for them. The two hit it off and exchange numbers right away.

Kitty may think she's an expert in love but she still has a lot to learn which becomes clear when she nearly breaks up with Dae because he doesn't like Harry Potter. This time, Kitty must listen to the advice of her family in order to get her own happily ever after.

5 Lara Jean's Bowling Date

Lara Jean and Peter have had some pretty iconic dates over the years. From fake ones at parties to their epic first date which included sending off paper lanterns, the bar is certainly high for these two. When it comes time for Lara Jean to plan a special date she racks her brain before deciding on a bowling night.

Lara Jean takes it one step further getting her and Peter custom bowling shirts a la The Big Lebowski and even packs them a sampling of all her best desserts. In the end, Lara Jean and Peter have an amazing time goofing around together which is what makes it such a  great date.

4 The Callbacks To The Other Movies

Creating the final movie in a series or franchise can be tough because there's a lot of expectations. Thankfully, To All The Boys: Always And Forever knocked it out of the park by staying true to the series. In fact, the third film stays so true to the series that there are several callbacks to the first film throughout.

During one scene, Gen compliments Lara Jean's shoes in the hallway which is reminiscent of their first scene together where Gen is making fun of Lara Jean's shoes. Later on, Lara Jean and Peter visit the table where they signed their first contract together, and by the end of the movie the two have created a brand-new contract.

3 The Meet-Cute

Everyone knows the only thing better than the romance in a romantic comedy is the meet-cute. Lara Jean is a romance novel connoisseur so it is only fitting that she's upset that she doesn't remember when she met Peter. Luckily, Peter does remember meeting Lara Jean for the first time and it's the perfect meet-cute.

In the flashback sequence, a young Lara Jean is being called up on stage to receive a perfect attendance award but when she goes to stand her hair gets caught in the chair. A young Peter just so happens to be sitting behind her and helps her untangle it before giving her his signature Peter Kavinsky smile. This scene also gets bonus points because it features Jenny Han, the author of the book series, as the principal.

2 The Yearbook Contract

Lara Jean and Peter's love story all started with a contract so it's only fitting that their on-screen journey end with another contract.

Towards the middle of the movie, Lara Jean asks Peter to sign her yearbook so she will always remember this moment in time. Peter is a little hurt about it because he feels like Lara Jean is pulling away from him but he agrees. In the end, Peter uses Lara Jean's yearbook to draft up a new contract for these two, one where they promise to stay together even though they'll be 3,000 miles away because "that's what you do when you love someone."

1 Lara Jean Staying True To Herself

While To All The Boys has always been about Lara Jean and Peter's love story, To All The Boys: Always and Forever is really about Lara Jean coming of age. All too often romantic comedies end with the girls having to compromise their wants in order to keep their relationships alive but Lara Jean breaks that mold.

In the end, Lara Jean stays true to herself by deciding to attend NYU away from her family and Peter. Luckily, Peter is a supportive boyfriend who encourages Lara Jean to chase her dreams while also agreeing to stay in a long-distance relationship with her. Lara Jean truly gets the fairytale ending she's always wanted in To All The Boys: Always and Forever.
