WoW: Why Burning Crusade Classic Is Perfect For Shadowlands Players

With the announcement of World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic coming along with the first major content update for WoW: Shadowlands, there will be plenty of ways for fans to enjoy everything Azeroth has to offer. Since Burning Crusade Classic will reintroduce some key features that did not yet exist during WoW Classic, it has the chance attract a much broader audience, including those who prefer a some of the modern features in Shadowlands.

One of the most anticipated features set to be reintroduced in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic are the arenas. Arenas are the most popular PvP format in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, being featured in major esport events such as the Arena World Championship. Considering World of Warcraft: Classic's only version of organized PvP is Battlegrounds, many PvP enthusiasts may have decided not to give the game a try. With the impending return of arenas, players will have a compelling reason to give Burning Crusade Classic a chance.

As for players who prefer to go against the environment, World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic will have plenty to offer. Unlike WoW Classic, players will have the opportunity to raid in groups of 25, and even groups of 10 for certain instances. This is much more manageable than the group of 40 that was necessary in WoW: Classic, and should make raiding a possibility for casual players. In addition, heroic dungeons will be reintroduced in Burning Crusade Classic, giving those who enjoy playing in smaller groups access to much more challenging content.

In addition to the major additions World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic makes to the endgame, it also comes with some features that will be more familiar to Shadowlands players. One of these is the ability to use flying mounts, which make traversing the Outlands much easier. Burning Crusade Classic will also allow players to play as Blood Elves and Draenei, both of which are popular races in World of Warcraft that veteran fans may have missed in WoW Classic.

One of many people's biggest problem with World of Warcraft Classic is the class balance, since many specialization are considered "non-viable." Burning Crusade Classic will have a number of changes that help to minimize this issue, making it so that any specialization can be useful. Although some WoW classes will be better than others at the highest level of play, every player can feel confident playing the character that they have the most fun with.

Both World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and World of Warcraft Classic have a thriving community of players, and both games have things that make them appealing to play. World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic will hopefully tie the best aspects of both of these games together, and that should encourage dedicated World of Warcraft fans to give it a try.
