The former 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Karine Staehle recently took to her Instagram to apologize to her husband, Paul Staehle. She issued a heartfelt apology for making false sexual assault and domestic violence claims against her man. In July 2020, Karine ran away from Paul's house with their two-year-old, Pierre. At the time, she stated her husband was sexually assaulting her. She was scared for her life and had to escape his house.
According to the Kentucky native Paul, his wife started living with a fan and Brazilian translator in New Albany, Indiana. That fan convinced Karine to make false sexual assault claims. Paul claims this fan was also planning to get rid of him permanently and plotted to get him killed. He affirmed it wasn't his wife's idea to press the charges. Karine was expecting her second baby boy with Paul at the time. Apparently, she was also being told to get an abortion. But, when Karine learned of the alleged murder plan, she left the house and returned to Paul.
This 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple is now happily living together in Brazil and recently welcomed their second son, Ethan. It looks like Karine is now feeling much better. She spoke about the time she ran away from Paul's house in the United States and accused him of sexual assault. The mommy of two shared a video on her Instagram to apologize to her husband for making false sexual assault and domestic violence allegations against him. She began, "Hello everybody. I'm here to apologize about the accusations about Paul, (they are) false."
Karine said that the fan, who was trying to help her, was wrong. She didn't understand Karine, as her English isn't that good. She concluded the video saying, "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry, Paul." It is great to see that Brazilian native Karine is finally in the right headspace. Earlier, she avoided posting anything on social media because she wanted to steer clear of any negativity. She is now back on Instagram after nine months of a long break.
Many 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans can see that Karine now looks much happier than before, suggesting the allegations against her husband were probably false. A few days back, Paul and Karine were spotted dancing together in a TikTok video. Many fans were embarrassed to see this couple, as they didn't have any rhythm in their dance moves. Still, they were pleased to see that this former 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? pair is getting back on track slowly and steadily.
