90 Day Fiancé Season 8 Tell All: Everything We Learned About Brandon & Julia

While fans spent much of 90 Day Fiancé season 8 sending sympathy to Julia Trubkina, part 1 of the Tell-All showed a different side of Brandon Gibbs’ wife, and we're going to explain why. When viewers met city slicker Julia, she'd uprooted her life after trying 15 jobs in Russia. She went to live at Ron and Betty's Dinwiddie, Virginia farm. When the show started airing, Brandon received tons of flak from fans, who thought he should provide a better life for Julia. To top it all off, Brandon’s nosy and controlling parents Betty and Ron Gibbs were also treated as villains. They were accused of mistreating Julia. However, Julia’s appearance on the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All may have revealed her true colors.

The 90 Day Fiancé season 8 Tell-All started off with Julia maintaining her fan-favorite title by chiding Andrew Kenton and commenting on Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva’s “not real” relationship. Soon after Julia claimed that Zied Hakimi used Rebecca for a Green Card, her own segment revealed that she was “the bad guy” in her relationship with Brandon. Julia told host Shaun Robinson that while she loves Betty because she is Brandon’s mother, one should “never live with parents.” The Russian reality star confessed that since it wasn’t her house and she wasn’t following her own rules, she was “just pissed off all the time.” This led her to yell at Brandon and give them “all time trouble.”

However, when their 90 Day Fiancé co-star Jovi Dufren interrupted Brandon, asking him why he couldn't have planned better before Julia’s move to America, the Virginia resident replied with “maybe I did.” Brandon revealed that he was looking at houses to buy away from Hummingbird Acres Farm. Julia confessed, “It’s my mistake,” as she explained that the apartment that he was interested in renting was “f***ing s**t.” While Brandon was ready to move out of Ron and Betty’s house, what he could afford wasn’t up to Julia’s standards. With the couple admitting that it was their choice to stay on the farm and pinch their pennies, even Rebecca agreed that listening to his parents should be part of the deal.

The other half of the 90 Day Fiancé foursome, Betty and Ron, showed up next. Initially, Mama Gibbs revealed that she’d thought that Julia was a stripper in Russia. Even Brandon shared that because Julia was a “dancer," he also thought she was a stripper. Julia said that when she’d begun dancing, “everyone start talking bad about her.” Meanwhile, Betty revealed that this wasn’t why she had the "no sleeping in the same room" rules. That rule was because they “weren’t married yet.” Betty added that they’ve always had Brandon and Julia’s “best interests at heart.

As Yara Zaya joked that Julia should have applied for a working visa rather than a K-1 visa, Julia declared, “I have very hard 90 days because I don’t have only Brandon. I have parents, I have animals and I need to for everyone.” However, Ron revealed that “they could have moved out anytime they wanted to.” Betty admitted that they “wanted to gain a daughter and not lose a son.” Furthermore, Julia revealed that looking after the farm animals was her own decision, rather than a punishment. Yara had once plotted to free Julia from farm work, but Julia said she did the work to help Brandon. “I never say I am poor girl,” argued Julia, as her co-stars claimed she’d tricked them to get sympathy.

Meanwhile, 90 Day Fiancé mom Betty shared how she just wanted Julia to be informed about birth control. Rebecca frowned that it was “awkward and weird.” Julia said that she was happy having a dog instead of a baby, as a friend who’d taken birth control ended up never getting pregnant. “And 24 hour I need clean him poop,” cried Julia. Brandon and Julia will return to TLC for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, so perhaps the Russian star will leave her cute animals and cuter in-laws. Maybe she'll spend more time with her husband Brandon, just like she's always wanted to.
