Avengers: Endgame BTS Pic Shows Paul Rudd With Stark Infinity Gauntlet

Paul Rudd wields the Stark Infinity Gauntlet in a new Avengers: Endgame behind-the-scenes image. After Ant-Man sat out the events of Avengers: Infinity War like Hawkeye, as he was also on house arrest, Scott Lang reunited with the remaining Earth's Mightiest Heroes five years after Thanos' snap. While he was late joining the efforts to defeat the Mad Titan, he was the one to suggest the idea of the time heist, which ultimately worked, albeit with a couple of hiccups.

The third anniversary of the blockbuster hitting theaters is slowly approaching, and while Marvel Studios is moving forward with Phase 4 through Disney+ series WandaVision and the ongoing The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Endgame continues to be a narrative driver in the franchise. The world continues to grapple with the sudden return of half of humanity which resulted in macro and micro problems around the world. Loki, on the other hand, will tackle the ramifications of the Avengers' time traveling. So, while the Infinity Saga is finished, Endgame still warrants a revisit from time to time for fans.

For those who worked on the film, however, it's a great experience to look back on, and while a barrage of set images have released throughout the years, there are still few new ones that pop up from time to time. The latest one comes from Mark Ruffalo who celebrated Rudd's birthday by sharing an Endgame snap of the actor in his full Ant-Man suit, bar the headpiece, having fun with the Stark Infinity Gauntlet prop. Check out the photo below:

Based on the background of the image, this was taken while filming the post-time heist mission, just when the heroes were deciding on who's going to wield the Stark Infinity Gauntlet and snap back half of life in the universe. Thor volunteered himself, but given his mental state at that point, not everyone thought it was a good idea despite the fact that he could more likely survive it with very minimal damage to himself. In the end, it was Smart Hulk who did it and given how Ruffalo looked while filming the movie with his VFX suit on, it's curious if he's really the one who took this image of Rudd.

Just recently, another Avengers: Endgame actor, Robert Downey, Jr. also celebrated his birthday. Ruffalo did greet the Iron Man star, as well, on his Instagram page, but considering how much longer they've worked together in the MCU, he used an image from their days filming The Avengers in 2012. Fortunately, there's still a chance for Rudd and Ruffalo to work again in the franchise moving forward as they both survived the events of the Infinity Saga.
