Southern Charm: What Happened To Whitney Sudler-Smith After Season 7
Whitney Sudler-Smith joined the cast of Southern Charm for its first season in 2014. He remained a full-time cast member until season three and was later demoted to a friend of the cast. Even though Whitney is no longer part of the main cast, he is the creator of the series and works as an executive producer. Even when he is not in a scene, he is always there to produce, adding his input behind the scenes. After all, he is the brains behind Southern Charm.
Even though Whitney was not featured much during season seven of the Bravo reality series, he is an integral part of the show. His mother, Patricia Altschul, is featured heavily in the show, even though she was never a full-time cast member. However, Patrica has become a mother figure to most of the Southern Charm cast members, as they are often seen going to her for advice or getting it anyway. However, since the show finished filming late last year, Whitney has been busy with life and getting ready for season eight.
Shortly after filming for season seven of Southern Charm wrapped, Whitney was not very active on social media. However, he did share a photo to Instagram from last summer of him having dinner with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Chrissy is known as a huge fan of Bravo, with Southern Charm being one of her favorites on the network. Other than his dinner with the couple, Whitney shared a video of himself playing the guitar to "Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin. While the show was on a short hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Whitney quarantined with his mother for four months. Patricia shared to her Instagram in September 202o that she, Whitney, and her butler, Michael, all self-quarantined together during the beginning months of the pandemic.
Whitney recently shared a fun night he had with Southern Charm alum Cameran Eubanks. He shared a photo of the two hanging out the day before Valentine's Day. He and Cameran have been friends for years, with Cameran even admitting she sees Whitney as a brother. Even though she quit the show, Whitney harbors no ill-will towards Cameran. Besides his steady friendship with Cameran, Whitney may have a steady relationship in the works. The Instagram gossip site Deuxmoi recently shared a sneaky fan photo of Whitney and Madison LeCroy from Southern Charm at a "popular cocktail bar in Charleston." According to the onlooker, they "proceeded to kiss right there in the middle of the bar." Photographic evidence was later shared on the gossip site as well. His mother denied the allegations by writing "April Fool's" in response to a tweet associated with DeuxMoi.
Since season seven of Southern Charm finished filming, Whitney has stayed quiet on social media. Besides hanging out with some of his Southern Charm pals, Whitney has been living a low-key life behind the camera. However, his rumored love affair with Madison is quite an interesting piece of gossip fans are now hoping they discuss in the upcoming season of the Bravo series.
