The Bachelor: 5 Best Cameos By Previous Contestants (& 5 Worst)
While each Bachelor has his unique method for finding his one true love on The Bachelor, oftentimes he needs a little help from contestants from past seasons.
When these previous contestants make an appearance on the show they usually intend to plan fun dates for the Bachelor or to share advice. However, occasionally these former contestants stir up trouble for the Bachelor. Either way, it's always a great episode when someone from Bachelor Nation makes a cameo.
9 Best: Demi Burnett On Peter Weber's Season
Demi Burnett has always been known as one of the most dynamic and fun-loving people to compete on The Bachelor. She competed in Colton Underwood’s season and became close friends with Peter Weber. For week three of Weber’s season, Burnett decided she wanted to plan a group date for the women.
Burnett decided she wanted to start an "Extreme Pillow Fight Club" and had the women battle it out in the ring wearing nightgowns and pajamas. This date was very entertaining and certainly one of the most memorable group dates of the entire franchise.
8 Worst: Andi Dorfman On Nick Viall's Season
In 2014, Nick Viall competed for Andi Dorfman’s heart when she was the bachelorette. Viall ended up coming in second place when Dorfman chose Josh Murray over him and broke Viall’s heart. In the hometown’s episode of Viall’s season as the Bachelor, Dorfman surprised Viall in his hotel room.
It was during this conversation that Viall revealed that there is a strong chance he might not propose to any of the women despite heading into the fantasy suites week right after this conversation. Their conversation also felt like just an opportunity for Dorfman to confront Viall about something he said to her years ago.
7 Best: Tyler Cameron On Matt James' Season

Bachelor Matt James loves to have fun with the women on his season of The Bachelor. So naturally, when his best friend Tyler Cameron, from Hannah Brown’s season, came for a visit James had to mess with him.
James planned a date with Katie Thurston, where Cameron was scheduled to get a massage but James and Thurston hired an actor to “massage” Cameron. It was very funny to not only watch Cameron get pranked but to see James and Thurston stifling their laughter while talking to the fake masseuse.
6 Worst: Becca Kufrin Visits Colton Underwood on Bachelor In Paradise
Before Colton Underwood became the bachelor in 2018 he was part of the Bachelor In Paradise season that was filmed right before he was cast. In that season of BIP Underwood struggled a lot with his relationship with Tia Booth because he still had feelings for Becca Kurfin.
Surfin made a brief appearance on the show to talk to Underwood and help him retire his feelings for her. Underwood reacted very emotionally to Kurfin’s arrival and ultimately left him more confused about his feelings than he already was.
5 Best: Ben Higgins On Colton Underwood's Season
Before Underwood began his journey as the bachelor he met up with former Bachelor Ben Higgins for some advice on how to get the most out of his experience. Higgins met Underwood at a bar and told him to trust in himself and be confident in his decisions. He also told Underwood to enjoy the journey and just carry himself with grace.
It was very heartwarming to see Higgins share how excited he was for Underwood and to express that he knows he is going to find what he is looking for.
4 Worst: Arie Luyendyk On Sean Lowe's Season
Sean Lowe was chosen to be the 17th Bachelor back in 2013. During one of the episodes of his season, Arie Luyendyk, who competed on season 8 of the bachelorette with him, stopped by his place to give him some advice. While this may seem like it would be a nice thing to do Luyendyk’s advice wasn’t the greatest.
Luyendyk encouraged Lowe to keep his breakups interesting and shared his kissing techniques. It was a little too much.
3 Best: Ben Higgins, Sean Lowe, And Chris Soules On Nick Viall's Season
Nick Viall was lucky to get some advice from former Bachelors Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, and Ben Higgins right before his season of The Bachelor. The trio joked around with Viall and poked fun at his evolution throughout his years in Bachelor Nation.
This scene was a true treat for die-hard Bachelor fans because it's rare to see so many Bachelors together in one episode. This conversation also offered some insight into how these former Bachelors felt about their experience on the show.
2 Worst: Heather Martin On Matt James' Season
Matt James’ season of the Bachelor has been full of surprises. One of the most unexpected turns his season has taken so far was when Heather Martin, from Colton Underwood’s season, asked Chris Harrison if she could join James’ roster halfway through the season.
The other women were extremely upset that Martin was allowed to meet Matt and one girl, in particular, was interrupted right after she told James she was in love with him for the first time. It was hard to watch the interaction between Martin and the women and to see James send her home.
1 Worst: Hannah Brown On Peter Weber's Season
Hannah Brown shocked millions of viewers around the country when she showed up to Peter Weber’s first night as the bachelor. While the women in the house and the viewers at home were shocked when she stepped out of the limo and recounted her escapades with Weber, the biggest shock was when she confessed to Weber that she still had feelings for him and was interested in being part of his season.
Luckily, the pair ended up deciding it would be best if Brown went home but it was still painful to watch Brown sharing her heart with mascara running down her face.
