Every Show In The Arrowverse, Ranked According To Rotten Tomatoes
The Arrowverse has been the most successful output for DC Comics action, with multiple seasons and high ratings for most of the shows. These were successful despite the polarizing reaction to the movies, which included criticism and a fanbase divided over the direction of the franchise between the dark and gritty Zack Snyder work and the more optimistic family-friendly direction of recent movies.
On the other hand, The Arrowverse on The CW featured a straightforward superhero storyline allowing each of the shows to play to their individual strengths and then seamlessly crossover with one another, usually to great fan acclaim. With older shows ending and new ones starting, the future still looks bright for DC on The CW.
10 Freedom Fighters: The Ray - NR (54%)

In 2017, The CW released an animated series called Freedom Fighters: The Ray on its streaming service, CW Seed. While the Rotten Tomatoes critics didn't pay it any attention, fans did take notice but gave it a low 54-percent rating for the audience score.
The series takes place on Earth-2, a parallel universe to the main Arrowverse shows, and focuses on Ray Terrill, a man who gets light-based powers when he discovers a version of himself from another Earth. It lasted two seasons and 12 episodes.
9 Vixen - NR (75%)

Vixen was an Arrowverse animated series that got more mainstream attention than The Ray but still didn't get enough reviews to receive a Rotten Tomatoes score. However, fans seemed to like it, giving it a 75-percent approval rating for the audience score.
It received two seasons, like The Ray, for 12 episodes on CW Seed. This is set in the same universe as the rest of the shows, and actors from The Arrowverse voiced their animated characters here, as Vixen gained the powers of the animal kingdom and fought crime.
8 Constantine - 72%

Constantine had a tough go when it made its way to television. It was not originally part of The Arrowverse and aired originally on NBC. This was not a good fit for that network and only lasted one season, and 13 episodes before NBC canceled it.
The CW picked it up and released an animated series on CW Seed with actor Matt Ryan returning to voice the character. Fans loved the character, even if the show didn't succeed, and he joined the cast of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
7 Batwoman - 84%

Batwoman is easily the most polarizing show in the entire Arrowverse. This becomes crystal clear when looking at the Rotten Tomatoes scores. The critical score is a high 84-percent, and while that is the lowest of the main shows from The CW, it is still a very respectable score.
However, the audience who votes on Rotten Tomatoes hates the show. While it has a high critical appreciation, the audience score is the lowest of any show in The Arrowverse, at a rock bottom 16-percent.
6 Superman & Lois - 86%

Superman & Lois is the brand-new show for The Arrowverse on The CW, and that means its score is the most volatile and could go up or down quickly as the first season wears on.
However, early on, it seems the new television adventures of the Man of Steel and his wife and kids is a huge hit, with an 86-percent critical rating and an 82-percent audience score. Whether he can continue to soar with that remains to be seen.
5 Arrow - 86%

The DC shows on The CW are called The Arrowverse because Arrow is the show that started it all. Stephen Amell starred in the show as Oliver Queen, who later became known as Arrow, based on the DC Comics character, the Green Arrow.
Arrow started hot and then had some middling middle seasons before becoming the first Arrowverse series to end. The critics loved it, with an 86-percent rating, but fans dropped the audience score to 63-percent as the series wore on.
4 DC's Legend's Of Tomorrow - 87%

DC's Legends of Tomorrow seems to be one of the fan favorites, especially for the social-media crowd. This is likely because of the humor levels and the fun time-travel adventures. It is also the show with the largest cast turnover, as there are almost no original members left.
However, the critics have always praised it and rank it at a nice 87-percent Rotten Tomatoes fresh score. Fans are also happy with it, mostly with a decent 80-percent audience rating.
3 Supergirl - 88%

Supergirl is ending in 2021, and it is another show that has polarized some DC Comics fans. The show has always taken on a more female-centric look at the DC Universe, which made it different and fun.
While it started on CBS, it moved to The CW and has been part of the Arrowverse family ever since. Critics offer a nice 88-percent rating, but fans pushed their audience score down to 51-percent.
2 The Flash - 88%

While Arrow was always a dark and brooding show with a tortured hero, The Flash was a fun and quick-moving series, proving that The Arrowverse could provide something for fans no matter what style of action they desired.
When Arrow and The Flash crossed over, it also proved the creators had a grasp of everything as the two different characters matched up perfectly. Critics gave it an 88-percent rating, but fans only gave it a 68-percent.
1 Black Lightning - 92%

The highest-rated show in The Arrowverse is one that didn't even start in The Arrowverse. Black Lightning had no connection with the other shows, and it turned out these heroes existed on a different Earth completely. However, thanks to the Crisis on Infinite Earths event, they crossed over and combined.
Critics loved the commentary on Black Lightning, which took real-world problems and had the character deal with them in realistic ways. Critics gave it the highest rating for The Arrowverse, at 92-percent. As expected, the audience didn't care and dropped their rating for Black Lightning to a 45-percent.
